How to Quickly Become an Experienced High Heels Dancer

High heels dance is always performed on high heels. This is the first factor to consider before starting training.

To dance on heels, you need at least to learn to walk and stand in them. So if you don't have this skill, start by buying heels (about ten centimeters) and learn to walk in them. Here are a few simple exercises:

Take small, slow steps, preferably on a perfectly flat surface. Don't rush. Try to keep your legs straight, without bending your knees too much. The higher the heel, the shorter the step.

First, you need to put down your heel, then your toe. As soon as you feel your entire weight on the balls of your feet, smoothly transfer it forward, as if you were walking on tiptoes.

Your feet should be close together; don't place them too wide apart, or it won't work. Don't try to imitate models or actresses—they have a different, more complex walk. You don't have experience yet, so there's no point in jumping into the hard stuff. Keep your balance while walking.

It's best to start practicing at home because your floor will be a perfectly flat surface for learning. On the street, there are uneven sidewalks, pebbles, cracks, and more. Even in a store, you can practice walking because there are shopping carts on wheels that are great for maintaining balance.

That's basically it. The main thing is not to limit yourself to one day; keep walking in heels constantly. If you're confident you can stand in them and hold yourself properly, try going outside.

Next, put on any favorite song and try moving to it in heels. It will be difficult at first; nobody denies that. You might not be able to keep your balance, but gradually you'll feel much more confident. Try not to keep your legs in one position; you need to learn to move your whole body. At first, movements might be stiff and less sweeping, but over time you'll see progress.

Next, you need to learn to move to the rhythm. Look for music suitable for high heels dance, turn it on, and try to hit the beat precisely. If you can't get along with the rhythm, you won't get along with any dance. Also, try to relax and move more freely. Don't think about how you look; think about the rhythm. Your body should be relaxed, movements light and smooth. Improvise. You might take something from that improvisation for the future.

Don't forget video tutorials. You need to see how the dance should look. There are also many tutorials that teach the basics of high heels dance. If you can't learn movements on your own, it's best to sign up for classes where an instructor will explain and demonstrate everything. Plus, the instructor can point out mistakes.

Practice as often as possible to avoid mistakes and learn this dance style faster. The more independent practice, the closer success. Work on your mistakes, work on yourself, forget about laziness if you want to become an experienced dancer.

High heels dance is quite a challenging dance that requires certain skill. It will take a lot of time to learn and even more to become an experienced dancer. The main thing is not to lose motivation and desire, because without them, you won't see any success.
