Demi Moore Gives KATSEYE a Fashion Rescue in “Animal” Music Video

KATSEYE is out of control, but Hollywood glamour just walked in. On Friday (July 24), the girl group dropped the music video for new single “Animal,” and Demi Moore makes a cameo. The visual puts Lara, Megan, Daniela, Yoonchae and Sophia — Manon is still on hiatus — in a tense enclosed red room. There, they perform choreography in front of one-way glass while a group of men in suits watches. The twist? Those executives are actually the members of KATSEYE, wearing cropped wigs and ties to channel the music-business boss types they’ve met on the way up.

“Nobody knows you’re outta control/ But I see a side behind the closed doors,” they sing to the room of “men.” “They get a glimpse here on the dance floor/ You move like an animal.” The executives are not impressed: they tear up the members’ headshots. So the group tears apart a dressing room searching for the perfect looks to win approval. That’s when Moore, sitting calmly in a chair, steps in: “Is that the shoe? I don’t think so.” She shoots down each outfit with “no, no, no,” until finally: “Alright, let’s get wild.” In silver sparkles, the quintet returns to the red room and gives it everything.

“Animal” is the latest single from KATSEYE’s upcoming EP “Wild,” due Aug. 14. Fans already know lead single “Pinky Up,” which debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April. The video’s chaos mirrors the group’s recent schedule: Coachella and Gov Ball are in the books, the “Wild Hearts” film arrives in August, and a tour kicks off in September.

There’s also the lingering question of Manon. She stepped away from the band in February to focus on her well-being. As Lara told Vanity Fair in June: “People just have no idea what goes on ... It’s nothing but love between us.” Sofia added: “We can definitely say that in our situation, in no way was it about race. That goes against everything that we stand for.”
